The market of PAPEETE is worth having a glance and you will certainly make there some shopping.

I couldn't believe it : "Rio" bananas ? Are there thus no banana trees in this country ? of course yes, but rough competition on banana led to such a situation..

Bags, hats made of pandanus and palms leaves. 		Outside the market, there are also colourful flowers.

Meat : a smal flip of flyer without real conviction.. New comers will be put off by this display in open aire, but it's all good, may be less riskye by listeria than with our frozen foods

On the early morning, the poor one is hanging-dead. She had boomed for only one night, suddenly spreading a buff of powerful perfume. Others will still open, during a few days. In a greenhouse, south of France, she opens around at 9/10 p.m.. Our cutting.. It is a variety of thornless cactus , (Epiphyllum or Phyllocactus), whose leaves are actually enlarged stems that grow on another one, then thins into stems. Origin Central and South America.


Here is the flower which open only at deep fall or night., or almost because she seems disturbed over the years, while keeping nearly the same local hour !!
